Global 0.5 ° C marine salinity grid data products from 1960 to 2020

Dataset Overview

From 1960 to 2020,the original data of global 0.5 degree ocean salinity data products are from all field observation data in the Global Ocean Database (WOD),including CTD,Argo,Bottle,Glider,Mooring and other observation instruments. The data product is mainly based on the set optimal interpolation method proposed by the atmosphere for spatial interpolation of data,which uses high-resolution climate or earth system models (LICOM; GFDL-CM4); Three CHOR reanalysis results and 20 CMIP6 high-resolution mode simulation results provide dynamic ensemble samples.
