As the field of earth observation enters into the era of big data, satellite remote sensing data application users and researchers not only want the remote sensing data to have consistency in geometric position, but also put forward higher requirements on the radiometric consistency of the remote sensing data, so as to better carry out remote sensing data application and information mining and analysis. The Ready to use (RTU) product set is designed to lower the threshold of satellite remote sensing data application, freeing data applicators from the tedious work of searching, organizing and processing data, and providing users with standardized, serialized and diversified advanced data products. The Landsat 8 RTU product set consists of Landsat 8 surface reflectance and surface temperature products.
