Global 0.5 degree ocean absolute geostrophic grid data products from 1960 to 2020

Dataset Overview

The absolute geostrophic current data released by Cheng Lijing,a researcher team from the Institute of Atmospheric Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences,is based on the 0.5 degree ocean temperature and 0.5 degree salinity grid point data products. Using IAP temperature and salinity data, the absolute geostrophic current is calculated by combining the P-vector method with the dynamic altitude method, and the global ocean surface, subsurface and mesospheric circulation data sets are constructed.
