1993-2021 High resolution temperature and salt flow data products in the Northwest Pacific

Dataset Overview

The high resolution temperature and salt flow data product of the Northwest Pacific jointly developed by researcher Zhang Linlin, associate researcher Yan Xiaomei and researcher Sun Che of the Institute of Oceanography,a co construction unit of the Oceanographic Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences,is a combination of historical hydrological observation data such as CTD and Argo,as well as the latest satellite altimeter data,It is retrieved using the geostrophic empirical mode method based on sea surface height (HGEM,Zhang&Sun,2012),that is,the three-dimensional temperature, salinity and velocity products of the ocean obtained through the large-scale continuous observation of satellite altimeter.
